The Hurricanes took on the visiting Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics this saturday in ACAA Women's Basketball action. 

The Hurricanes looked to take the early lead after a 1st Quarter score of 24-16

The 'Canes were the leaders heading into half time highlighted by a buzzer beater corner three point shot from Lisa Bolander

The Mystics would not go quietly however with a impressive 3rd quarter to take the lead by one point with a score of 63-62.

The Mystics would go on to complete the comeback and take the win with a score of 89-77.

The Mystics improve to 7-1 while the Hurricanes fall to 6-2.

The Hurricanes were lead by Karla Benitez with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Lauren Armstrong had a impressive showing with 10 rebounds and 14 points.

For the Mysitics Emily Holt made an impact with three 3 pointers and 10 rebounds for a total of 22 points. Katherine Khorovets also contributed to the Mystics win with 2 three pointers and 10 rebounds.
