Holland Hurricanes hosted the STU Tommies on Saturday afternoon.
The Hurricanes started the game well shooting 50%(3-6) from beyond the arc. Leading by 4pts at the end of the 1st, 23-19.
The game continued much the same with Hurricanes extending their lead each quarter by five points.
The 'Canes defense held the Tommies to just 26.1% shooting from the field. While 'Canes shot 41.8%.
The final score 77-58 for Holland College.
Lisa Bolander led the way for the Hurricanes with 25pts and 5 steals.
Amy Plaggenhoef went 4-6 from 3pt and finished with 14 pts.
Vanessa Soffee carried the Tommies with 23pts, 6 rebounds and 7 steals.
Both teams will match up again tomorrow, Sunday January 29th at 1pm at the McMillan Center in Charlottetown.
