Hurricanes hosted the Mounties on Sunday afternoon in Charlottetown.

The game started with a high energy and both teams shooting well.
The entire game saw them go back and forth with no big runs by either team.

With the home team up 73-72, Lauren Furlong of the Mounties got an open look from 3 and took advantage, putting her team up 75-73 with 9.6 seconds left on the clock.

The Hurricanes had a shot to tie the game but came up short and the game ended 75-73 Mounties.

Mounties were led by Lauren Furlong who had 21 points off the bench.

Karla Benitez was the top scorer for the Hurricanes with 18 points.
