The St. Thomas Tommies improved to 3-0 in the ACAA women's rugby conference with a 40-17 win over the Mount Allison Mounties, Friday night in Fredericton.

The Mounties struck first and took a 5-0 lead, but the Tommies responded to tie the game. Taylor Dube gave the Tommies their first lead, getting past the try line and converting on the kick. TheTommies led 12-5 at half time.

The Mounties came out strong in the second and capitalized, cutting the STU's lead to two points. The Mounties managed one more try before the Tommies took over, scoring three more tries and completing three more kicks en route to their third straight victory.
