It was a perfect day for rugby at Graves-Oakley Memorial Park in Spryfield, NS where the University of King's College Blue Devils hosted the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds.
The Varsity Reds opened the scoring early and held a 50-0 lead at half time. The Blue Devils fought hard the entire eighty minutes, but were unable to stem the scoring tide of the Varsity Reds.
The final score was 0-113 for the Varsity Reds. Try scorers for the Varsity Reds: Amy Andrews, Taylor Morgan, Maria Muise with four tries each; Taran Price with three tries; Johanne Reid with two tries; Reid Sutherland and Addie Curten each scored a single try. Anna Vietvert successfully kicked eight conversions and Taran Price secured one conversion.
