The University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds played their final regular season home game defeating University of Kings College 108-0 in ACAA women's rugby action Saturday afternoon in Fredericton on College Field.
UNB controlled possession of today's game scoring a total 18 tries on the day. The Reds were led by both Keely Shea and Amy Andrews who scored 4 and 3 tries for their team respectively. While Taran Price was locked in on converses with seven in today's game.
With today's victory over the Blue Devils, UNB now moves to 6-0 on the season and takes sole possession of top spot in the ACAA Women's Rugby standings. The next game is schedule for October 28th with the start of the ACAA playoffs. The soon to be determined second place team will play the third place team in playoff game. The winner of that game will play the first place team in the league finals on Nov 4th.
