The Blue Devils got on the board late in the first half, but first year prop Kyra Gate (Truro, NS) shedding defenders on her way to a 70 yard rumble to get her first of three tries on the day.

"It's great to see people step up. We had a lot of first year players in this game," said head coach Meghan Morrison. "We had one of our players play their first game of rugby ever today. Graci Young, a first year player, a jiu-jitsu athlete who wanted to try rugby, and she was involved in some plays today."

Other tries for the Tommies were scored by Hope Metallic (Listuguj, QC) with two, Megan Pollard (Saint John, NB) and Becca Ring (Saint John) each with one. While Donelle converted 8 kicks, for a total of 31 points for the Tommies.
