The St. Thomas University Tommies fell 2-0 to the Holland College Hurricanes in Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association regular season play Saturday night at BMO Field.

The Tommies controlled the play early with Jade Bellemare creating back-to-back scoring chances, but it was the Hurricanes who struck first as Briar Roberts found the back of the net for 1-0 Holland College lead. Late in the first half, Lauren Myers followed suit to put the Hurricanes up 2-0 at the break.

It was back and forth in the second with both teams searching for goals, but neither team was able to capitalize. Nicole McInnis earned the shut out for the Hurricanes, while Chelsey Leahy took the loss in net for the Tommies.

The Tommies are back in action tomorrow when they host the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Rams at 1:00 pm.
