The St. Thomas Tommies dropped a 2-0 decision to the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves, Saturday afternoon in Fredericton.
It was back and forth for much of the first half, with both teams looking to hit the scoresheet. Geselle Tuquib profited off a scramble in front of the Tommies' net at the 45 minute mark for a 1-0 Seawolves lead at half time.
The Tommies came out strong in the second half and created scoring opportunities, but couldn't convert. The Seawolves increased their lead to 2-0 midway through the second half with a goal from Amelia Haines to secure the win.
