The Blue Devils struck early with a goal by Natalie Crawford at the 6 min mark, but play through the remainder of the first half was very even. In the second half, the Rams dominated the play with 8 shots and 7 corners ,but could not convert to find the back of the net. Andrea Gillis scored for UKC at the 60' mark with a great shot from the 18 and Adele van Wyk sealed the game with a goal at 82'. Still controlling the majority of the play, the Rams finally hit the mark at 85' when rookie Sian Rankin blasted one past Emily Bartlett to spoil the shut-out. Shots on goal were 13 - 10 for UKC, while the Rams had 7 corners to Kings 2.
