A well played game by both teams resulted in a 3-1 win for the Canes.  Canes' Molnar opened the scoring at the 8 min mark with the Rams replying at the 21 min with Shanice Maxwell connecting on a first touch bullet low to the corner.  At the 26 min mark Fahie connected for the Holland Hurricanes to put them up and Nicole Ferguson secured the win at the 39 min mark.  Both Keepers Dunsten (HC)  and Nasr (DAL AC) had great saves and the flow of the game was even.  The summer temperature affected both teams as the pace slowed half way through the second half.  A great start to the season for both squads.
