A great night for soccer in Moncton ended with the St. Thomas Tommies winning over the Crandall Chargers 5-1 in ACAA women's soccer action. The scoring started early with Abigail Curwin getting her first of two at the 5 minute mark. Other scorers for the Tommies were Robyn MacPhail (10), Nikita McCartney (36), Moira Kinney (60) and Curwin getting her second goal at the 43rd minute.
Crandall's lone goal came off an own goal by the Tommies.
Crandall goes on the road Saturday looking for their first victory in Truro as they head down to face the Dal AC Rams in an afternoon kickoff.
