The UNB Saint John Seawolves and University of King's College Blue Devils treated the fans to a great game Saturday at the Canada Games Stadium. The Blue Devils carried the play in the first half but could not score. The Seawolves rebounded in the second half but the teams remained scoreless until the 86th minute when Karlee Duval took a nifty pass from Nicole Mersereau, broke in on the left side and deposited a beautifully placed ball into the lower corner for her third goal of the season.
The Seawolves remain undefeated at 2-0-1 while the Blue Devils now stand at 1-2-0.
The Seawolves host the Mount Saint Vincent Univeristy Mystics tomorrow (September 22) at 12:00 PM while the Blue Devils travel to St. Thomas University for a date with the Tommies at the same time.
