Former Hurricane Katherine McEwen lead the charge for the MSVU Mystics in both leadership and on the score board by posting the first goal for the Mystics early in the 1st half at the 22 min mark.  Emily LaPine responded quickly from the Hurricanes at the 27th minute.  The teams battled hard for the rest of the 1st half, but went into halftime with a 1-1 draw.  At the 69th minute, Emily Cormier added another goal for the Hurricanes, giving them a 2-1 lead. 8 Minutes later, MSVU's Kaitlin Oakey added another to tie the game.  In the 85th minute, Pascale Haidar secured a 3-2 win over the Hurricanes with a last minute goal.  

The Hurricanes now have a record of 2-1-1 and will host the Crandall Chargers on Thursday, Sept 23rd at 6:00pm at the Terry Fox Complex in Cornwall.
