Crandall Defeats Dalhousie Rams 5-0 in Blowout Win.

MONCTON, NB - It was all Chargers all evening long at CN Sportsplex in Moncton as the Chargers had a demoniant performance against the visiting Dalhousie Rams to a five-nil victory.

Leading the charge was Crandall's Amanda Piltzmaker who came away with a hat-trick in the match, finding the back of the net in the 23, 31, and 74th minutes of play.

Emilie Aresenault and Makayla Martin were the other goal scoring contributors for the Chargers with their goals coming in the 37th and 86th minute of play, respectively.

Crandall's defensive unit played outstanding, forcing the Rams to play wide and not allowing any opportunities for the ball to be crossed into the box. Kaya Shearer played a fantastic game, continuously winning the ball away from the attackers and feeding the ball up-field.

Maya Clapperton came away with a clean sheet after 90 minutes of play, the two shots that were placed on goal. The stat line does not do justice to the involvement Clappetron had, coming off the line multiple times to cut off the streaking forwards.

Clare Glover led the Rams attacking effort with three shots, one of which was on net but saved by Clapperton. Rachel Scheffield played admirably stopping five of the ten shots she faced, though the amount of shots the Chargers had in a one-on-one situation would be a difficult task for any keeper.

The Chargers were set to host the Holland Hurricanes this coming Saturday but due to Hurricane Fiona, the game will be postponed with no date yet scheduled for a make-up game.
