The 2016-17 ACAA Champions - the MSVU Mystics are picking up where they left off in the Langille Athletic Centre.  In the first league match of 2017-18 , the Mystics took the Rams in 3 for their first win of the season.  For the Mystics Jasmine Smith had 7 kills and 8 points. Madison Urquhart helped the Mystics effort with 3 service aces.  Overall MSVU had a balanced effort with all contributing to the win.  Never behind , the Mystics showed confidence throughout.

The Rams, with 5 rookies,  are still trying to find the right combination to put a consistent effort forward .  Led by 5th year veteran Thea McLachlin with 10 killls and 10 points, the Rams struggled to find momentum .  Rookie Emma Marquis who is back on the court after a year away , had 3 service aces .

The Rams are back in action on Saturday (Nov 4th) when they travel to the UKC Kingdome to meet the Blue Devils at 2 pm
