The STU Tommies had momentum in the first set this afternoon in Bible Hill to edge by the Rams, 25-20. The Rams turned their game around completely in the second to sail past the Tommies for a 25-13 set win. However the Rams could not hold the momentum past the second set and lost the third 25-19 and the 4th 25-10. The big hitter for the Tommies was Megan Mills who had 15 kills , also contributing on defense with 9 digs. Mills finished with 15 points. The Rams veteran Thea McLachlin had 8 kills ,9 digs , 9 service aces and 18.5 pts to lead the home team. Rookies Emma Marquis (7 digs and 4.5 points) and Sarah Van Den Heuvel (3 kills, 2 service aces and 5.5 pts) had strong performances as well.
The Rams are back in action tomorrow at 1 pm when the UNBSJ Seawolves visit for the last ACAA Volleyball in Bible Hill for the first semester .
