In a four round nailbiter at the Kingdome, the Tommies defeated the Blue Devils 3-1. The first round went to the Tommies at 25-17. The second, which was full of outstanding rallies from both sides gave the Blue Devil's their 25-22 win.The Tommies went on to winning the third set after an intense battle at 25-23. The Blue Devil's tried to come back in the fourth set but the Tommies kept their lead. With a narrow gap they defeated the Blue Devil's 25-22 in the fourth set. The tommies were over all victorious, claiming the match 3-1.
