The Mount Saint Vincent Mystics swept the UNB Saint John Seawolves 3-0 in the ACAA women's volleyball semi-final Saturday afternoon at Lady Beaverbook Gymnasium.
Set scores were 25-13, 25-16, and 25-21.
Both teams struggled to find consistency in the match, as many points were lost on net calls and serving errors.
The Seawolves showed resiliency and jumped to an early lead in the third set, but couldn't contain the Mystics' Jasmine Smith, who had 18 kills in the match and only five hitting errors.
Smith's kills were complemented by strong play at the net from Nicole McCulloch, who had a game-high seven blocks.
The Seawolves' Maggie Birney contributed seven kills and four digs. Montanna Meyer added five kills, three digs, and one solo block.
The Mystics will advance to the women's championship final, February 25 at 1:00 pm where they will take on the winner of the second semi-final match between Holland College and St. Thomas.
