The MSVU Mystics captured their eighth straight ACAA women's volleyball championship on Sunday when they defeated the Holland Hurricanes in straight-sets.

Set scores were 25-20, 25-15 and 25-21 in favor of MSVU.

Madison Urquhart (16 kills) and Kenzie Brimicombe (14 digs) were the top performers for the Mystics in the victory.

The Hurricanes top statistical performers were Jasmine Smith (10 kills) and Katie Wood (11 digs).

The MSVU Mystics will now adjust their focus to the CCAA National Championship being held in Welland, Ontario, hosted by the Niagara College Knights.
