The UKC Blue Devils hosted their home opener against the Crandall Chargers on Sunday. The Blue Devils won the game decisively – winning in three straight sets. The scores were 25 - 15, 25 - 10, and 25 - 11. Third-year player Abby Hourigan lead the Blue Devils' attack with 9 kills on the day. On the defensive end, new recruit Jessica Chiquita had a stellar performance with 9 successful digs.
