ACAA volleyball

The Mount Allison University Mounties won the fourth and fifth sets to edge the UNBSJ Seawolves in a thrilling five setter 21-25, 25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 15-11.

The teams battled for over two hours in a back and forth match. Rachel McDougall led the Mounties with 13 kills and 11 digs. Jadyn Boyles added 11 kills and 12 digs Sofia Graziani had 23 assists for the winners. The Seawolves were led by Lauren Bayne's 15 kills and 11 digs. Kaitlin Sears had 9 kills and 8 digs Emma Lynch had 42 assists for the Seawolves and Dayna Alexander had a match-high 14 digs.

it was the second straight five setter between the teams. The Mounties are off to a great start this season and remain undefeated at 6-0. The Seawolves have absorbed some close losses in the early going and sit at 1-4.

The Seawolves host the Crandall University Chargers tomorrow at 2:00 PM while the Mounties next game os on the road against the Holland College Hurricanes November  30 at 2:00 PM.
