The Canes win 3-1 over the Mounties in a battle for first place heading into the Decemeber break. The Canes started strong in front of a big crowd taking the first set 25-12. They lost some momentum in the second set and the Mounties fought back for a 25-22 set win. The Hurricanes then rallied back to take the next two sets. The Canes had an impressive service game with 20 aces. They were led by Samantha Gerbig who had 19 points and Zayley Murphy with 15.
The Mounties offence was led by Rachel McDougall with 8 kills and Jadyn Boyles who had 7.
