The UNBSJ Seawolves hosted the Holland College Hurricanes in ACAA women's volleyball action Sunday in Saint John.

The Hurricanes made quick work of the Seawolves winning in straight sets (25-18, 25-20, 25-20) and improved their record to a perfect 13-0. The Seawolves dropped to 2-10.

Samantha Gerbig managed 11 kills and 7 digs in the abbreviated affair. Abby Hyndman added 7 kills and 5 digs and Marissa Macaulay had 26 assists. Dana Trainor was a magnet on defense with a game high 14 digs.

Abigail Bernard had 7 kills and 6 digs for the Seawolves. Bridget Boone had a team high 8 digs and Emilie Diesbourg finished with 16 assists.

The Seawolves hit the road for a Saturday, February 8 match against the USA Dragons at 4:00 PM. The Hurricanes play the same day at 2:00 PM at Dal AC against the Rams.
