Today, the MSVU Mystics hosted the UKC Blue Devils for their home opener in ACAA volleyball. The Mount Mystics earned a 3-1 win over the UKC Blue Devils this past Friday. Kings showed dominance in the first set, besting the Mystics 25-18. MSVU was able to re-group and go on to win the next three sets, with respective scores of 25-16, 25-18, and 25-12. Emma Wilson led the charge for the Blue Devils, delivering eight kills on the match, as well as Kiana Higuchi adding five kills of her own. On the other side of the court, Marcy MacNeil was a key part in the Mystics front row, with nine kills. Ava Pernu, wearing number five for the Mystics, held down the back row with nineteen digs. This was a great opening game for the ACAA season from both teams.
