(HALIFAX, NS) On Saturday, October 29th the Mystics womens volleyball team took on the Crandall Chargers in their home gym as their secod game for the season opening weekend. The Mystics took the win, 3-0 with scores of (25-17, 25-19, 25-13). 

The Mystics started off strong racking up 14 kills in the first set, with seven kills recorded for each remaining set. their attcking was led by Catherine MacPhail with seven kills throughout the game, with Marcy MacNeil and Maddie Parlee both scoring four times as well. Service aces were led by Marcy MacNeil with four, Maddie Parlee had nine digs, and Maia Green recorded eight digs.

Crandalls leaders were Janelle Blanchette with five kills and Hannah Druart with seven. Hailey Legacy led their service aces with three. Defensively, Amy LeBlang showed up to play getting 13.

Crandall takes on another Halifax team tomorrow when they play UKC and the Mystics will have Sunday off and return to their home court next Friday, November 4th.
