CHURCH POINT, N.S. : The Mount Allison Mounties made their way to Church Point Saturday afternoon at Université Sainte-Anne to play the Dragons at the Marcel-R.-Comeau Sports Centre.

The Mounties took the lead early in the 1st set winning it 25-17. The 2nd set saw the Dragons battle with the Mounties and take the set 25-17. Mount Allison bounced back to take the 3rd set 25-22 and dominated the fourth and final set 25-9 to take the match 3-1. 

For the Mounties, Emilie Botma and Chloe Nichols lead the offense with 9 kills each, Logan Tait contributed 28 assists and Rebecca Cotton added 13 digs. For Sainte-Anne, Abby Despres lead with 9 kills followed by Megan d'Entremont and Jillian MacDonald with 6 kills each, Jacqueline Bright chipped in with 24 assists and Amy Arsenault had 18 digs. 

Mount Allison improves to 9-6 and has won 4 matches in row, while the Dragons fall to 2-12. The Dragons host UNBSJ Seawolves on Sunday afternoon at 1PM at Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point while the Mounties do not play until the following weekend as they travel to Holland College on Saturday February 11th 2023.

POINTE-de-l'EGLISE, N.-E. : Les Mounties de Mount Allison se sont rendus à Pointe-de-l'Eglise samedi après-midi à l'Université Sainte-Anne pour affronter les Dragons au Centre sportif Marcel-R.-Comeau.

Les Mounties ont pris les devants tôt dans la 1ère manche en le remportant 25-17. Dans la deuxième manche, les Dragons se sont battus contre les Mounties et ont remporté la manche 25-17. Mount Allison a rebondi pour remporter la 3e manche 25-22 et a dominé la quatrième et dernière manche 25-9 pour remporter le match 3-1.

Pour les Mounties, Emilie Botma et Chloe Nichols ont mené l'attaque avec 9 attaques chacune, Logan Tait a contribué avec 28 passes et Rebecca Cotton a ajouté 13 récupérations. Pour Sainte-Anne, Abby Despres a mené l'attaque avec 9 attaques, suivie de Megan d'Entremont et Jillian MacDonald avec 6 attaques chacune, Jacqueline Bright a contribué avec 24 passes et Amy Arsenault a eu 18 récupérations.

Mount Allison s'améliore à 9-6 et a gagné 4 matchs consécutifs, tandis que les Dragons tombent à 2-12. Les Dragons accueilleront les Seawolves de UNBSJ dimanche après-midi à 13 h à l'Université Sainte-Anne à Pointe-de-l'Eglise, tandis que les Mounties ne joueront pas avant la fin de semaine suivante, alors qu'elles se rendront chez Holland College le samedi 11 février 2023.
