Church Point, NS: The Dragons (0-12) hosted MSVU Mystics (10-2) on Sunday for the 2nd of a pair of weekend matches between both teams. 

Fans were treated to a very entertaining match as the action was back and forth all afternoon. Les Dragons started the match with many exciting plays and their offense gave them a 1st set win of 25-15. The Mystics showed once again their well rounded attack and came back to take the 2nd & 3rd sets : 25-18 and 25-15. The young Dragons squad showed no quit and took another exciting 4th set : 25-23. However, MSVU came back strong and with purpose in the final set winning 15-9 to win the match 3-2. 

The Mystics were lead by Marcy Macneil with 15 kills & 29 digs, Madyson Parlee contributing 12 kills & 24 digs and Mckenzie Antle added 44 assists. For Sainte-Anne, Jillian MacDonald lead the offense with 17 kills & Abby Despres with 11 kills, Makayla Addington chipped in with 52 digs and Jacqueline Bright added 31 assists. 

The Dragons host UNBSJ Seawolves (4-9) on Saturday January 27th at 4 PM and Mount Allison Mounties (10-2) on Sunday January 28th 2024 at 1 PM at the gymnasium of the Marcel-R.-Comeau Sports Centre at Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point, N.S.

Pointe-de-l'Église, N-É : Les Dragons (0-12) ont accueilli les Mystics de MSVU (10-2) dimanche pour le deuxième d'une paire de matchs de fin de semaine entre les deux équipes.

Les partisans ont eu droit à un match très divertissant alors que l'action s'est déroulée dans les deux sens tout au long de l'après-midi. Les Dragons ont commencé le match avec plusieurs bons jeux et leur attaque leur a permis de remporter la première manche 25-15. Les Mystics ont montré une fois de plus leur attaque bien équilibrée et sont revenues pour prendre les 2ème et 3ème manches : 25-18 et 25-15. La jeune équipe des Dragons n'a pas baissé les bras et ont remporté la 4e manche 25-23. Cependant, MSVU est revenu en force et avec détermination dans la dernière manche en gagnant 15-9 pour remporter le match 3-2.

Les Mystics ont été menées par Marcy Macneil avec 15 attaques et 29 récupérations, Madyson Parlee avec 12 attaques et 24 récupérations et Mckenzie Antle avec 44 passes. Pour Sainte-Anne, Jillian MacDonald a mené l'attaque avec 17 attaques et Abby Despres avec 11 attaques, Makayla Addington a contribué avec 52 récupérations et Jacqueline Bright a ajouté 31 passes.
