The Hurricanes hosted the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics in the final regular season game of the ACAA women's volleyball.
Last time these two teams faced each other it was a five-game battle with the Mystics coming out on top.
The match started well for the Hurricanes taking the first game 25-16.
In the second set the Canes found themselves down 10-5, following a timeout they managed to tie the game back at 12 all, with some timely kills by setter Ella Hickey.
The teams exchanged points to 20-20.
Some great rallies throughout the set, the Canes found themselves trailing 24-22, brought it back to lead 25-24, timeout by the Mystics.
The Canes took the second set on a kill from Mason Babey, 27-25.
The third set saw the Mystics come to play, taking it 25-23 and 29-27 in the fourth, setting up a 5th set.
The 5th set saw the Mystics jump out to an 8-5 lead, with Cela MacLellan stepping up with some great plays. With the score 10-5, coach Hoskins called a timeout, his team responded with 4 unanswered, leading to MSVU timeout.
MSVU called a timeout trailing 13-11. To no avail, as the Hurricanes win 15-12.
Myah Utrosa had a strong game in the middle for the Hurricanes. With her counter part Cela MacLellan also having a big game for the Mystics.
