The second women's quarter-final matchup was between hometown Seawolves and Mount Allison Mounties.
The Mounties were quick on their feet with a strong offensive attack. Emma Burns had 11 kills and 4 digs earning her player of the game for the Mounties.
For the Seawolves Dominique Gendron stepped up on defence to hold off the Mounties with 11 digs and earned herself player of the game for the Seawolves. The Seawolves gave it their all on the court and stayed competitive with the Mounties, but ultimatley, the Mounties came out on top, winning 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, and 25-23).
