Mount Allison Continues thier Dominance

 

For the second meet in a row the Mount Allison Mounties continue thier winning ways capturing both men and women's team event on Saturday at the Mavillette Beach Provincial Park, NS hosted by the Universite Sainte-Anne.

On the women's side Mountie's runners Kona Osterlin captue the 6 KM sandbar course with a time of 26:27,  twentys seconds faster than second place Crandall's Mary MacLean and 69 seconds over third place fellow Mountie Lauren Doyle (27:36). With Mounties runnes soldifying 3 of the top 5 positons lead thier team to 12 points team victory, twenty eight points better than second place MSVU (40 Pts) and twenty nine points to third place DAL AC (41 pts).

 

Men's Crandall's runner Sean Finnigan won his second meet of the season with a time of 30:11 on the 8 KM course. Second place was achieved by Kieran Thornell (30:23) and third place went to Mounties runner Isaac McCardle (30:28).The maroon and orange Mounties took top honors in the team event with 26 pts, followed by Dal AC (35 pts) and third place Crandall (36 pts).

The third meet of the season will be hosted by the Crandall Chargers on Saturday October 16, 2021 at the Malpton park located in Moncton, NB.
