Dalhousie AC Set to Host the 2023 CCAA Cross-Country Running National Championship

Truro, Nova Scotia - Dalhousie Agricultural Campus (DAL AC) has been named the host for the 2023 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Cross-Country Running National Championships.

The CCAA Championship will return to the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) from November 10-11, 2023, in Truro’s picturesque Victoria Park.

Andrew Harding, Associate Director for the Department of Athletics and Recreation at DAL AC, will be the Championship Chairperson.

“DAL AC is appreciative of the opportunity to once again host a competition of this caliber,” said Harding. “We will use this platform to promote the CCAA, the athletes who are competing, the sport of Cross-Country Running, and our institution in a way we can all take pride in.”

In recent seasons, DAL AC has hosted numerous ACAA and CCAA Championships. In 2021, DAL AC hosted the ACAA Cross-Country Running Championships at Victoria Park, providing a challenging and memorable race for student-athletes from six participating ACAA teams.

The DAL AC Rams eagerly welcome any opportunity to showcase their campus facilities to student-athletes and coaches from across the country.

This will mark the second time that an ACAA institution (St. Thomas in 2010) will host the CCAA Cross-Country Running National Championships, with St. Thomas University hosting the 2010 CCAA Championship.

DAL AC is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq.
