Crandall University Takes 2nd ACAA Meet in Dominant Fashion

Eilidh Cameron from Mount Allison University and Luke Purdy of Crandall University were both winners on Saturday's (Sept 30) ACAA XCR meet hosted by Holland College at Mark Arendz Brookvale Nordic site.

Eilidh completed the women?s 6 KM course with a time of 25:42 five seconds faster than second-place Crandall?s Michaela Allen (25:47) and 15 seconds ahead of third-place finisher Crandall?s Clareta Livingstone (25:57).

Luke ran a blistering 29:07 time on the 8 KM course providing a 2-minute and 47-second cushion over Crandall?s second-place finisher Jackson Culberson (31:49) and third-place Mount Allison University runner Isaac McCardle (31:54).

On the team?s side, the day flashed yellow and blue as Crandall University Chargers took home top honours on both men's and women?s sides. Crandall?s women?s team finished with 15 pts over second place MTA (35 pts) and third place MSVU (40 pts). Crandall?s men?s team continued their dominance by scoring a 16 pt finish topping second place DAL AC (41 pts) and third place Mount Allison University who scored 48 pts on the day.

After two meets in the books, Crandall University Chargers will be the teams to catch in Sackville, NB on Saturday, October 14, 2023, as Mount Allison plays host.
