ACAA Athletes of the Week - Week of Oct. 9, 2021

ACAA Athletes of the Week - Week of Oct. 9, 2021

With the push toward the ACAA soccer playoffs now very much in focus, strong performances are becoming more and more valuable to teams as they look to lock themselves into the top four.

Ally Seamone, Mount St. Vincent University - Soccer

Critical situations call for strong veteran leadership, and the Bridgewater, N.S. native provided it for the Mystics, playing a composed midfield game while being strong on both the ball and her tackles, as well as scoring the deciding marker in the Mystics' 2-1 win over their crosstown rivals, the University of King's College Blue Devils.

Seamone is in her fifth and final year of eligibility at Mount St. Vincent, where she is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science program with a Mathematics major.

Mohamed Camara, Dalhousie Agricultural College - Soccer

The Bamako, Mali native provided the offensive spark the Rams were looking for, scoring four goals and adding two assists as the Rams broke into the win column with a 6-0 victory over the Crandall University Chargers.

Camara, who now ranks fifth in the ACAA in goals, is in his third year of eligibility at Dalhousie Agricultural College, where he is studying Business Administration.
