The UKC Blue Devils were unable to walk away with a win in their home opener Saturday, falling 99-78 to the visiting Mount Allison Mounties. The Mounties were led by an outstanding performance from Diangelo Woodside, who put up 26 points, 17 boards, and 2 blocks. The new-look Blue Devils were led by rookie Reese Zorogole, who put up 26 points of his own, along with 12 rebounds.
