Hurricanes offence rolls through Tommies

CHARLOTTETOWN - The Holland Hurricanes made their way back into the win column with a commanding 97-69 victory over the St. Thomas University Tommies Saturday afternoon. 

Jordan Holness had 21 points, 8 assists and 7 boards in 25 minutes of play to pace the Hurricanes early. The Holland bench came through with 39 points, led by Marc Hofer's 11. 

The Tommies struggled with a short bench, scoring just 17 points in each of the first three quarters, before outscoring the Hurricanes' reserves 18-16 in the final frame. Michael Otoo had a team-high 13 points for St. Thomas, while Carlo Theriault scored 11 and added 8 boards off the bench.
