The Holland College Hurricanes defeated the Crandall University Chargers 91-76 to start the second half of men's league play on Saturday in Moncton. The Chargers jumped out to a 10 point lead after the first quarter, but the Hurricanes chipped away in the second and took control in the third to cruise to the victory. The Hurricanes were led by Byrce Corless with 23 points and Nathan Anderson chipped in 20 while Nathan Anderson hauled in 16 rebounds. The Chargers were led by Rikson Barua with 21 points off the bench. The Hurricanes resume league action on Saturday when the host the UKC Blue Devils while the Chargers host Mount Alison in a mid-week game on Wednesday.
