The Mount Allison Mounties defeated a depleted Crandall Chargers squad 81-73 in Sunday afternoon ACAA Men's Basketball action in Moncton. The Mounties fourth quarters rally saw them overcome a seven point deficit with 3 minutes remaining to surge to an 8-point win. Leading the charge for the Mounties was Noah McCarthy with 24 points with Aram Currie chipping in 9 rebounds. The Chargers, short six players to injury, were led by Rikson Barua with 17 points with Cedric Denis pulling in 9 rebounds. The Mounties continue league play on Friday when they host the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics while the Chargers are in action again on Sunday they host the UNBSJ Seawolves in their final home game of the season.
