The UNBSJ Seawolves hosted the UKC Blue Devils in men's basketball Sunday in Saint John and picked up a much needed win. The Seawolves were solid throughout the game and used a strong third quarter (outscored UKC 23-7) to open up a sizable lead on route to an 84-58 victory.

The Seawolves are playing their best basketball of the season and finally got rewarded to move their record to 1-9 while the Blue Devils dropped both games of the NB swing trip and stand at 3-7.

Tanner Hoyt was on fire for the Seawolves as he poured in a game-high 33 points to go along with 6 rebounds. Jack Fury-Miller added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Colin Loughery had 13 points and 9 rebounds and Adam Lambert added 13 points and 5 assists. 

Carson O'Rourke had 14 points and 12 rebounds to pace the Blue Devils. Dali Lombardi added 13 points and 7 rebounds and Geevon Janday and Josh Crocker added 12 and 10 points respectively.

The Seawolves host the STU Tommies at 3:00pm February 26 while the Blue Devils host Mount Allison February 27 at 4:00pm.
