ACAA men’s soccer

The UNBSJ Seawolves hosted the Dalhousie Agricultural Rams in ACAA men's soccer action Sunday at the Canada Games Stadium in Saint John.

The Seawolves used a wind advantage in the first half to mount a relentless attack. Griffin Cassidy opened the scoring three minutes into the game and the Seawolves pushed forward and hemmed in the Rams for most of the first half. Nick Ellingwood made it 2-0 for the Seawolves in the 33rd minute. The Seawolves switched to a possession game in the second half against the wind and nullified any attack the Rams attempted to come away with a 2-0 victory.

The Seawolves evened their record at 1-1-0 for the season while the Rams stand at 0-2-0.

The next game for both teams is Saturday, Sept. 18. The Seawolves visit the Crandall University Chargers while the Rams play at Mount Saint Vincent University. Both games are 3:15pm kickoffs.
