The UKC Blue Devils and UNBSJ Seawolves played a hard fought match today at the Dalhousie Wickwire Fields. Early in the game, keeper Lucas McDonald came off his line to retrieve a loose ball and was given a 'hand ball' call for the error. Quickly, Blue Devils player #14, Nolan Bradley capitalized on the opportunity to take an indirect shot on net. Bradley scored and secured the 1-0 lead the Blue Devils kept into halftime. Following the break, the UNBSJ Seawolves kept composure as the Blue Devils pressed their defensive line in pursuit of another goal. Seawolves, #3 Thomas Barbara scored a goal for the team in the 67th minute of the game assisted by #4 Nick Ellingwood. In the 86th minute, #7 Thomas Barbara scored on a penalty kick opportunity advancing the score for the Seawolves 2-1 over the Blue Devils. The Seawolves took home the win with a final score of 2-1.
