The Holland College Hurricanes took the win over the University of King's College Blue Devils today in the Kingdome in Halifax. Both teams fought hard with the score going back and forth until the fourth quarter where the Hurricanes increased their lead from 5 to 15 points for a final score of 71-56.  Jayla Verney (#2) led the Hurricanes with 20 points while UKC had a standout performance from Jessica Simm (#12) with 10 points and 7 rebounds. 

 

 Holland College came into this game after a tough loss Saturday against the MSVU Mystics making their season record 1-1 with UKC starting their season 0-1.
