The MSVU Mystics beat the UKC Blue Devils 76-36 November 23 in the Halifax Kingdome. Despite a hard fought match from the Blue Devils, the Mystics dominated from the beginning through. After the first quarter the Mystics had already more than doubled their opponents in points, 19-8. King's made a run to catch up to the Mystics in the third with a great 9 points effort in the quarter from #15 Mallory Thomas but MSVU maintained their lead for the win. UKC's #10 Candace Reynolds stood out for her team with 7 rebounds and 14 points. Standouts for MSVU were #13 Marika Williams with 15 points and #20 Madisen Jennex with 16.

Both teams will face off at home against the UNBSJ Seawolves next weekend for their final games before the winter break with UKC playing the Seawolves on Saturday at 2 and MSVU playing them Sunday at 12.
