ACAA basketball

The UNBSJ Seawolves started the season with a game against the Crandall University Chargers. 

The Chargers came out hard but the Seawolves led 33-29 at the half. The Seawolves scored 36 points in the third quarter to blow the game open 69-38. They continued their strong play until the end winning 87-54.

Julia Bennett scored 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the Seawolves. Jillian McNally had 14 points and 7 points for the winners. Alexa Rancourt scored 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Chargers.

Both teams see action tomorrow (Sunday, November 3). The Seawolves travel to Mount Allison University to play the Mounties at 1:00 PM while the Chargers host the UKC Blue Devils at 1:00 PM as well.
