The Mystics add another victory to the win column today with a victory over the visiting Seawolves of UNBSJ. Even though the Mystics shot poorly from behind the arc their defense was very stingy by only allowing 54 shot attempts and causing 28 turn overs that help secure the win 76-48. The Mystics also grabbed 25 offensive rebounds and only turned the ball over 8 times. MSVU was led by Julia Kokonis with 12  pts along with Nikki Arsenault adding 11 and 7 rebounds. Alisha McNeil came off the bench and scored 13 while Maria Rodirigues grabbed 10 rebounds. For the visiting Seawolves they were led by Halifax native Gabrielle Fader who sparked the team off the bench with her strong shooting totalling 17 points and adding 4 rebounds. Julia Bennett was the othe rlone double digit scorer with 10. The Mystics head out on the road tomorrow to play MTA with a 2pm start time.
