Player of the Year from UNB

Name: Taran Price

Support Information:

In her second year of play Taran has shown great leadership. She has scored trys at a torrid pace. Scoring in 7 of 8 regular season games for a total of 11 trys, also adding a couple of converts. Her tackling, kicking and great attitude has been instrumental to UNB’s success.

 
 

Rookie of the Year from STU

Name: Olivia Ricketts

Support Information:

Olivia Ricketts came to STU as a utility forward and was quick to earn her spot on the starting lineup. The first year player from Saint John has made an impact both offensively and defensively, with 30 points to her credit in the regular season. Olivia is a strong runner who frequently breaks defensive lines and creates opportunities for the players around her. She has been an asset at the back of the scrum and has a bright future ahead of her with the STU Tommies.

 
 

Coach of the Year from STU

Name: Meghan Morrison

For the second consecutive year Meghan has been chosen by her peers as ACAA Women’s Rugby Coach of the Year. Meghan is highly respected by her players and does a tremendous job developing her players as athletes as well as the great work she does in developing her athletes as leaders in the community.
