Emmanuel Octavious was a major factor in the Mount Allison Mounties winning their first ever ACAA Men’s Basketball Championship on the weekend. The 5’8” freshman guard from Moncton, NB had 16 points in the 33 minutes of play during Sunday’s championship win over MSVU. On Saturday Octavious had 11 points and an astounding 5 steals during the Mounties 92-66 semi-final win over STU. The Mounties exploded for 62 points during the second have to beat the Tommies.
