Josh Oakes, a second-year veteran with STU’s Men’s Soccer Team, has played a pivotal part in the Tommies’ undefeated start to the season, as STU came away with two more wins this past weekend.
The Tommies defeated the Dalhousie AC Rams 1-0, followed by another 1-0 win over the Holland College Hurricanes. The Hurricanes entered the match with an undefeated record, leaving STU as the last remaining undefeated team.
Tommies’ head coach John-Ryan Morrison said Oakes’s play has been “incredible for our defense and in the midfield.”
