CCAA badminton results including Ritu Shah three-peat!

The Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) had a strong finish at the 2024-25 CCAA badminton championship clinching four medals!

Ritu Shah (UKC) earned a gold medal securing her third consecutive national championship. 

CCAA badminton player of the year Thomas Ashton (UKC) earned a silver medal. Another silver medal finish was the dynamic duo of sisters, Anna and Rachel Gillies (UKC). 

Sydney Arseneault and Krishna Bhatta (UNBSJ), last year's silver medalists, put up a strong fight in the semifinals before ultimately securing the bronze medal. Akshaya Jayakeerthi (UKC) finished strong in the bronze medal match, securing third place after a determined performance.

Joel and Mikel Cote (DAL RAMS) took 5th place in men’s doubles, Nihma Hussain and Addison McClune (UNBSJ) came 5th place in women’s doubles.

Ben Broadbent and Mike Ta (MtA) placed 6th place in men’s doubles and Wilson Paluch (MtA) placed 6th place in men’s singles.
