Chargers Hold Off Seawolves 75-63

The Crandall University Chargers used 24 points from Devon Glenn to hold off the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves 75-63 Friday night during the Seawolves' home oepner.

Glenn, a reigning 2nd Team ACAA All Star, hit some big shots for the Chargers down the stretch as they would outscore the Seawolves 18-8 in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Brett Curtis would chip in with 11 points, while Ethan Szemerda and Austin Brun would drop 12 points each in the losing cause.

Next up for the Chargers (1-0) will come Sunday when they host the Mount Allison University Mounties (0-2), while the Seawolves (0-1) will head to Fredericton to take on the St. Thomas University Tommies (1-0).
